NORTHAMPTON — A John F. Kennedy Middle School teacher pleaded not guilty in Northampton District Court on Monday to sexually assaulting and harassing a female colleague in November.
Herschel M. Levine, 33, pleaded not guilty to indecent assault and battery on a person 14 or older and accosting another person. He remains free on personal recognizance.
The Gazette could not immediately confirm the circumstances related to the charges.
Levine’s attorney, Jesse Adams, of Northampton, declined comment when reached by telephone Monday.
