WILLIAMSBURG — Voters decided the only contest in the annual town election Monday by reelecting incumbents Eric Cerreta and James Hyslip to the water and sewer commission.

A total of 198 people, or 10.2 percent of the town’s 1,936 registered voters, cast ballots.

Cerreta, of 157 Main St., received 150 votes, and Hyslip, of 29 Petticoat Hill Road, had 113. Challenger Kenneth Taylor finished third with 83 votes. All other incumbents on the ballot were re-elected.

They are Dave Mathers, 7 Eastern Ave., Select Board three years; Glenn Everett, 40 Hemenway Road, assessor, three years; Donna Gibson, 110 Nash Hill Road, Board of Health, three years; Cynthia Barker, 48 South St., board of library trustees, three years; Charlotte Meryman, 46 Village Hill Road, board of library trustees, three years; Charles Heath, 83 Mountain St., Finance Committee, three years; Richard Kisloski, 12 Cole Road, Finance Committee, three years, and Trust Fund Cemetery Commission, three years; Linda Rowley, 3 Hatfield St., Finance Committee, three years.

Also, Cerreta, elector Oliver Smith Will, one year; Brenda Lessard, 42 Nash Hill Road, town clerk, three years; Eileen Stewart, 7 Petticoat Hill Road, Hampshire Council of Governments, three years; David Chase, 99 Adams Road, local School Committee, three years; Joseph Larkin, 3 Judd Lane, moderator, three years; Alan Golash, 29 Kingsley Ave., Recreation Commission, three years; Joel Strate, 56 South St., Recreation Commission, three years; Carl Schlerman, 11 South St., regional School Committee, three years; and Nathan Rosewarne, 89 Ashfield Road, treasurer, three years.
