The Northampton girls tennis team received strong play at first and second singles as the Blue Devils beat Sabis, 4-1, Thursday at Smith College.
Phoebe Gelbard dropped two games at first singles, while Caitlyn Richmond dropped one in her match at second singles.
Gelbard beat Abby Sullivan, 6-1, 6-1, while Richmond aced Emma Smith, 6-1, 6-0.
Rachel Frogameni beat Zaria McClendon 6-2, 6-3 at third singles, while the first doubles pair of Shannon Collins and Marissa Toussey-Pfarrer beat Olivia Hatton and Angie Gonzales 6-2, 6-3 for Hamp (3-6).
