Alexis Ferris picked up her 500th career strikeout as the Hampshire Regional softball team rolled over East Longmeadow, 17-0, in a mercy-rule shortened five-inning road game.

Ferris struck out seven and allowed four hits and two walks in the win.

Danielle McGan had a single, a double, two runs and four RBIs for Hampshire (11-0).

Taylor Boutwell added four hits, four RBIs and two runs scored.

Granby 23, Gateway 3 (5) — Kate Sullivan went 3 for 3 (triple) with six RBIs for the host Rams (7-5).

Mallory Beauregard had three hits, three RBIs and five runs scored, while Abi Beauregard struck out six and gave up two earned runs.

For Gateway (2-8), Grace Van Buren had a hit and an RBI.

Frontier Regional 15, Athol 3 (6) — Sarah Meunier drove in three runs on three hits in a road win.

Hanna LaClaire had two hits and three RBIs, while Hannah Adams had two hits and an RBI for the Red Hawks (6-4, 5-1 Franklin).

Southwick 12, Smith Academy 3 (6) — Olivia Cavanaugh and Vanessa Skawski hit doubles in the Falcons’ loss on the road.

Skawski also drove in two runs and took the loss in the circle for Smith Academy (1-10).

Boys lacrosse

South Hadley 11, Agawam 10 — Pat Crotty scored four goals to lead the Tigers to a soggy home victory.

Jason Fernandes scored three times and Shane Smith found the net twice for South Hadley (5-6).

Corey Calkins made 14 saves in the Tigers’ net.

Amherst Regional 21, West Springfield 8 — Vance Canella and Willy Wright found the net six times each for the Hurricanes (3-8) in a home win.

Aidan Bass added four goals for Amherst, while Daniel Lyra scored twice and Liam Kelly dished out three assists.

Jake Hibbard stopped eight shots.

Girls lacrosse

Belchertown 13, South Hadley 7— Audrey Duhaime and Emma Jopson each scored five goals for the Orioles (5-6).

Kailey Pacheco made eight saves.

For the Tigers (3-8), Briana Couture had three goals while Hanna Kopec made eight saves in net.

Baseball

Granby 4, Drury 0 — The Bleakley brothers’ hitting and pitching sent the Rams to a road win in the Berkshires.

Noah Bleakley struck out nine in a one-hit shutout for Granby (9-2).

Matt Bleakley led the offense for Granby with two RBIs and a triple.
