JOY OF SONG— With Sara Snyder, Monday, from 1 to 2 p.m. An informal community singing hour. Join in on familiar old songs. Lyrics  provided — all abilities welcome.

MUSICAL SHOWCASE – May 20, 2 p.m. Amherst pianist Stephen Page, an instructor at Amherst College, the Northampton Community Music Center and Greenfield Community College, will perform. His selections always get fingers snapping and toes tapping. Free admission and refreshments.

WHITE ELEPHANT SALE — The Friends of the Amherst Senior Center will hold a White Elephant Sale on the Amherst Town Common May 21 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Call 256-3517 to donate. Small household items in very good condition will be accepted. No clothing, jewelry or furniture.
