Rachel Rockwell broke a Williston-Northampton school record, winning the 100-meter hurdles in 15.1 seconds Saturday.

The Wildcats finished second in the meet with 100 points. Worcester Academy won with 194, while Hopkins had 35, Cushing 15 and MacDuffie 8.

The previous record was set in 1990.

She also finished first in the javelin and long jump.

Alexis Ryan both won the shot put and discus.

Boys track & field

Williston 166, Worcester Academy 117, Hopkins 62, MacDuffie 6, Cushing 3 โ€” Kyle Doucette won the shot put and placed second in the discus.

Jamaal David placed first in the High Jump, while Mike Dereus was first in the long jump.

Zuri Campbell, Mark Wilson, Isaiah Harris and Dereus won the 4×100-meter relay.

Henry Chen finished first in the 110 high hurdles.

Dereus also won the 100, while Nick Hill finished first in the 3,000 for the Wildcats (13-2).

Softball

Williston 4, Kingswood-Oxford 2 โ€” Delaney Belinskas drove in two runs, while Gabby Jones had two hits in a road win Saturday.

Jardan Strum struck out 13 for the Wildcats (6-2).

Baseball

Williston 5, Suffield 4 (8) โ€” Patrick Beaton singled in Ian Ostberg with two outs for his third RBI of the day to give the Wildcats an extra-inning win Saturday.

Daylon Thompson pitched all eight innings and struck out five for Williston (10-4).

Girls lacrosse

Williston 14, Kingswood-Oxford 1 โ€” Madison Fulcher-Melendy scored three goals and added an assist Saturday for the Wildcats (12-1).
