Allison McCann moved one weekend closer to defending her Western Massachusetts Individual Tennis Tournament title.

The top-seeded Amherst Regional senior didn’t drop a game in her first three tournament matches this weekend en route to the semifinals.

She’ll face Longmeadow’s Suzanne Elfman, seeded fifth, in the semifinals.

All semifinal matches for boys and girls singles and doubles will start at 9 a.m. Saturday at the Longmeadow Tennis Courts.

Belchertown’s Meghan Bernard looms as a possible finals opponent.

The Orioles’ No. 3 seed beat Northampton’s Phoebe Gelbard 6-0, 6-4 in the quarterfinals.

Bernard will play Minnechaug’s Hailey Gurski, the No. 2 seed, in the semifinals.

The Hurricanes also will feature a boys semifinalist, Andy Zyskowski.

The third seed beat East Longmeadow’s Kabir Khurana 6-2, 6-0 in the quarterfinals.

He’ll play Longmeadow’s Sam Freedman for a spot in the finals.

Northampton put two boys doubles teams into the semifinals.
