The singles line stayed strong for the Amherst Regional girls tennis team.
The Hurricanes swept singles play to beat Northampton 3-2 on Monday in Amherst.
Allison McCann beat Phoebe Gelbart 6-0, 6-0 at No. 1 singles.
Margaret O’Connell won 6-2, 6-2 over Caitlyn Richmond at No. 2 singles, and Nya Saunders took down Jordan Kuhr 6-0, 6-1 at No. 3 singles.
Northampton’s Shannon Colins and Rachel Frogameni beat Amaraya Deza and Nikalaya Krouch 6-0, 6-1 at No. 1 doubles, while Nicole and Caroline Leroux won 6-2, 6-1 against Anna Lacey and Julia Hopley at No. 2 doubles.
