The Amherst College men’s lacrosse team lost to St. Lawrence University, 16-12, in the NCAA Division III Tournament quarterfinal round, Wednesday in Canton, New York.
No. 11 ranked Amherst (14-5) had a 10-7 lead in the third quarter, but No. 8 St. Lawrence finished the game on a 9-2 run.
Dylan Park led Amherst with three goals, while Quinn Moroney had two goals and three assists.
Evan Wolf and Chris Albanese had two goals each for Amherst.
Thomas Gilligan had 15 saves in net for Amherst before coming out late in the fourth quarter.
