By some of the thinnest margins, the Amherst Regional boys tennis team prevailed, 3-2, against Minnechaug Thursday in Wilbraham.
Calvin Lin beat Matt Berg 6-7, 6-4, 6-1 at No. 2 singles for the Hurricanes.
Amherst’s Andy Zyskowski lost a tight match to Matt Gurski at No. 1 singles, 7-6, 7-5. Zyskowski and Gurski will play each other in the Western Massachusetts Individual Tournament semifinals on Saturday.
At No. 1 doubles Thursday, Dennis Chen and Nathan Ji beat Logan Mitchell and Rob Koziol 3-6, 6-2, 6-0.
