Police are investigating the theft of electronics from a home at Townehouse Apartments, 50 Meadow St., which was reported at 12:33 p.m. Thursday.

Daniel Yeager, 30, who lists his address as the streets of Northampton, was arrested at 12:14 p.m. Friday on Bridge Street onย charges of having an open container of alcohol on city streets and being a fugitive from justice. Police said Yeager was wanted forย larceny onย a warrant issued inย Connecticut.

William A. Yager, 36, was arrested at 10:17 a.m. Friday at Cooley Dickinson Hospital, 30 Locust St., on a warrant issued by Northampton District Court forย assault and battery with a deadly weapon,ย police said.

Cynthia M. Torres, 34, of Florence, was arrested at 2:58 a.m. Friday when she was stopped near Bridge and Hawley streets for having a bad inspection sticker. Police detected the odor of alcohol and said thatย Torres failed field sobriety tests. Police said she was charged with operating while under the influence of alcohol and not having a valid inspection sticker.

A man and a woman were charged with larceny atย 8:31 p.m. Wednesday after police said they were observed trying to shoplift $315 worth of toys and electronics from Wal-Mart, 180 N. King St. Christopher Cochones, 31, of Brattleboro, Vermont, was also charged with possession of a Class E substance and possession of a Class C substance after police siad they found he had marijuana, Adderall and Clonazepam. Jessica A. Cox, 30, also of Brattleboro, Vermont, was charged with larceny and unlicensed operation of a vehicle.

Jeffery Morin, 32, 256 State St., Apt. D, was arrested at 6:54 p.m. Wednesday at Cooley Dickinson Hospitalย on a charge of vandalizing property.

Pamela M. Provo, 51, 129 Pleasant St., Apt. 6, was arrested on a charge of shoplifting when police responded to Wal-Mart about 2 p.m. Wednesday. Security staff told police that Provo was observed attempting to conceal $180 worth of clothes and DVD.

Ryan Charles Currie-Huggard, 35, 129 Pleasant St., Apt. 50, was arrested at 9:50 a.m. Wednesdayย on a warrant issued by Northampton District Court for disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.
