How wonderful to read the Gazette’s excellent editorial, “UMass must lead in fossil fuel divestment.”
We know how much this means to the students involved in the call for an effective response. On occasions over the last six months we have had the privilege of getting to know some of them personally.
In every case we have found them to be remarkably knowledgeable and responsible. These are our future leaders, and they need our respect and support now. With thanks for all you do.
