An Easthampton man was sentenced to 18 months in prison after pleading guilty in U.S. District Court in Worcester to drug distribution charges.

David Dulchinos, 51, pleaded guilty in February to charges of distributing cocaine and marijuana, according to the U.S. Department of Justice. On Tuesday, Judge Timothy S. Hillman ordered three years of supervised release for Dulchinos after he serves his prison sentence.

On Feb. 7, 2014, Dulchinos dealt about 400 grams of cocaine and 27 grams of marijuana to an informant working with federal agents, according to the Justice Department — all of which was captured on video and audio surveillance.

“The U.S. Attorney’s Office is committed to keeping the communities of Massachusetts safe by working with our local law enforcement partners to identify and prosecute dangerous drug traffickers,” said United States Attorney Carmen M. Ortiz in a statement. “With Mr. Dulchinos behind bars, the stream of illegal drugs is disrupted and the community of Easthampton is safer for residents and businesses alike.”

Dulchinos’ attorney, Raymond O’Hara, of Worcester, could not be reached for comment Wednesday.
