Pelham

MUSEUM OPENS: The Pelham Historical Society Museum, at the Pelham Town Hall Complex, opens for the season with a tour at 10 a.m. Saturday.

The tour, led by Pelham Historical Commission member Joseph Larson, will feature an opportunity for visitors to learn about the importance of the buildings in Pelham’s National Register Historic District.

Visitors will see the interiors of both the museum and meetinghouse and see features in the buildings that date to 1743. 

Beginning Sunday afternoon, the museum will be open weekly from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. Sundays, through Sept. 25.

South Hadley

CONCERT AT LIBRARY: The WestMass Brass Ensemble will perform at 5:30 p.m. Saturday at the South Hadley Public Library, 2 Canal St.

The free concert is co-sponsored by Music and Arts South Hadley and the South Hadley Falls Neighborhood Association.

The band led by Ken McCance of Montague has 25 professional and amateur musicians from throughout the Valley. Its repertoire ranges from popular to classical.
