HEALTHY EATING –Informational session with Marcus Chiaretto, lifepath coordinator, will be held July 12, 1 to 2 p.m. This session will introduce a free evidence-based program that may be offered this summer if there is enough interest. The program is for seniors who want to learn more about nutrition and how lifestyle changes can promote better health. Main components include: goal setting, problem solving, group support, nutrition education, and self assessment and management of dietary patterns.

The program offers affordable farm shares to low-income Northampton seniors. Receive a one-person, weekly share of freshly harvested vegetables for 10 weeks, with a total value of over $100 for a one-time fee of $10. Pickup will be on Tuesdays from 2 to 3 p.m.
