WHATELY — Slightly under 30 percent of the town’s registered voters voted Tuesday for 12 incumbents seeking reelection.
The only position on the ballot that was not filled by an incumbent was one of two library trustees.
Quinton Dawson, who was the only person on the ballot running for library trustee, was reelected for another three years. A second library trustee seat was left unfilled.
Moderator Richard Smith and Adelia Bardwell, the elector under the will of Oliver Smith, were both reelected to one-year terms.
Catherine O’Hara was elected to the School Committee seat she has held since fall 2015 when she was appointed by the Select Board and School Committee after it was vacated.
Reelected to three-year terms were Select Board member Jonathan Edwards; Town Clerk Lynn Sibley; constables Thomas Mahar and Edwin Janiewski; Katherine Fleuriel, town assessor; Paul Fleuriel Jr., cemetery commissioner; Michael Archbald, Board of Health; and George Bucala Jr., water commissioner.
