HEALTHY EATING –Informational session with Marcus Chiaretto, lifepath coordinator, will be held July 12, 1 to 2 p.m. This session will introduce a free evidence-based program that may be offered this summer if there is enough interest. Topics include nutrition and how lifestyle changes can promote better health. Main components include: goal setting, problem solving, group support, nutrition education, and self assessment and management of dietary patterns.

ALZHEIMERS’ RESEARCH INFO – Wednesday at 1 p.m. It’s estimated that over 5 million people in the U.S. have Alzheimer’s disease, which causes problems with memory and thinking. It usually affects older people and is a progressive brain disease – it gets worse over time.
