I do not understand how the powers that be in Northampton keep talking about easing the traffic flow on Northampton streets and then put in a stop light on King Street by the Bluebonnet dinner that goes red when there is no traffic exiting onto King Street from either side of the stop light.

Why isn’t this light activated only when needed?  Also, in Florence there are left-hand turn lanes at lights in the center, on Main at Chestnut Street and Bridge Road and North Maple Street.  However, there are no left-hand turn signals at any of these locations, which at busy times of the day are needed.

How about less talk and more action.
