Zyskowski missed the last three matches for Amherst with an elbow injury. As a result, the Hurricanes missed the playoffs.
Zyskowski on his favorite moments this season: “For me it’s the individual tournament. It’s a great group of players getting together and competing. Our season as a team was great. We a lot of new players who did really well for us. Our coach did a great job all year on getting us all together and making us work hard.”
Amherst coach Dan Herbst on Zyskowski: “Andy played great tennis all year. He won the matches he was supposed to win and that isn’t always easy. When he missed the last three matches we couldn’t overcome his loss. That’s how important he was to our team.”
