We were chasing the wrong issue at one of the last City Council meetings in Northampton. It is not the trucks that are causing the problem, it is allowing the trucks to invade our community.
We need to back up to the I-91 off-ramp and install large, clear signs to direct the trucks to their specific destinations by name, totally avoiding entering the residential community.
Trucks should be allowed to go straight ahead or turn right only.
