Pat Grygorcewicz had two hits and two RBIs, and Northampton beat Agawam 6-3 on Sunday in American Legion action at Shea Field to sweep the first round of the playoffs.
Kevin Banas added two hits as well, while Will O’Connor, Christian Smiarowski and Tim Horton had hits.
Smiarowski picked up the win on the mound.
Post 28 was the top seed and won Saturday’s first game 8-0 in Northampton.
Derek Zewinski went 2 for 4 and had two RBIs in Game 1, and O’Connor picked up the win.
The field will be re-seeded after the first round series end, and Norhtampton will play the lowest remaining seed at home Wednesday.
Westfield 5, Easthampton 4 — A 2-1 lead slipped away from Post 224, ending Easthampton’s season after a 2-0 series loss.
Easthampton scored twice in the second inning and another two times in the sixth to tie the game at 4.
Westfield scored in the seventh inning to clinch the win and the series.
Hunter Leveille had a hit and struck out four in six innings pitched.
Hunter Brooks, Ben Fitzpatrick and Camden Kelly also had hits for Post 224.
Northampton 8, Easthampton 4 — Sam Shelffo hit a double with two RBIs to lead Northampton in a game shortened by darkness Saturday.
Tristan Szawlowski and Matt Bouley also drove in runs.
Mitchell Carson had two RBIs for Easthampton.
Westfield American 4, Easthampton 0 — Will Robbins, Nick Lloyd, Ryan O’Leary and Ohm Patel hit singles for Easthampton in a loss in the 11-12 double-elimination district semifinals.
Easthampton will play either Amherst or Westfield National on Monday.
Easthampton 3, Belchertown 2 — Colin Larson hit a two-run homer in the third inning to help Easthampton down Belchertown in the 9-10 District 2 championship game Sunday.
Hudson Fulcher-Melendy drove in Easthampton’s other run and picked up the save on the mount.
Winter Roske got the win with four innings of work on the mound.
Northampton 15, Hadley 5 — Dominic Badorini hit a two-run homer as part of a five-RBI day as the Northampton 11U team clinched a district title Saturday.
Tyler Vanasse picked up the win with three scoreless innings, while Jordan Rickles led the team with four hits. Quinn McDonald added three hits.
Northampton advances to the state tournament in Sutton on July 16 as District 2’s top seed, while Hadley also advances as the No. 2 seed.
Northampton 7, Hadley 2 — Andrew and Michael Thompson had two hits apiece to help Northampton win the District 2 championship Sunday in Greenfield.
Northampton advances to the state championship and will play at 1:30 p.m. Friday in Hadley.
Easthampton 9, Westfield 3; Easthampton 5, Westfield 1 — Easthampton finished a three-game sweep in the U10 District 2 championship series Sunday.
Jocelyn Mettey struck out eight to get the win in the series clinching game and went 1 for 3 with an RBI.
Makenna Slate also drove in a run.
McKenzie McCarthy and Rosie Follet were each 2 for 4 with two RBIs and Slate hit a triple in Game 2 on Saturday.
Easthampton will next play Quabog in Regionals, a three-game series that begins next week.
The teams will flip a coin to determine who hosts Game 1.
