A woman reported at 1:21 p.m. Sunday that her neighbors are trying to poison her with arsenic after she observed a white powdery substance in the chicken broth she was cooking. Police found no evidence that anyone is trying to harm her.
Eugene Walker, 28, of Bronx, New York, was arrested at 1:51 p.m. July 6 on North Pleasant Street on charges of operating a motor vehicle with a revoked license and failure to stop for a pedestrian in a crosswalk.
Police plan to summon to court a 36-year-old woman and a 32-year-old man, both of Easthampton, after the woman allegedly carved an explicit message into her ex-boyfriend’s car. The incident occurred around 5:04 a.m. Sunday on Concord Drive. The woman told police she was mad because her ex-boyfriend cheated on her. The incident remains under investigation and the exact charges are pending.
Andrew W. Mullen, 30, of 418 Main St., Apt. 2, was arrested on a warrant at that address at 8:46 p.m. Saturday.
Jordan C. Emerson, 26, of 35 West St., was arrested at 10:45 p.m. Friday on a warrant and on charges of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended or revoked license and having no inspection sticker after a traffic stop on Union Street.
A Glendale Grill employee reported to police at 3:45 p.m. July 5 that her car had been stolen from the restaurant parking lot. The car, which was a gift from her now-ex-boyfriend’s father, was taken from the parking lot by the ex-boyfriend. Police determined that the incident was a civil matter rather than criminal.
Bryant C. Bishko, 23, of 99 Strong St., was arrested at 2:56 a.m. July 3 on charges of operating while under the influence of alcohol, leaving the scene of a property damage accident and a marked lanes violation after he allegedly crashed into a guardrail at the intersection of Ferry and East streets.
An Adams Street resident reported to police at 8:59 p.m. June 30 that a 29-inch HDTV delivered by FedEx valued at $120 had been stolen from his front porch. Police said they have no suspects.
The owner of two dogs that were running loose on Route 10 near the post office was cited at 1:40 p.m. June 30 for violating a city ordinance. Each violation is punishable by a fine of no more than $50.
