GOOD LORD

God walks into a therapist’s office, saying he’s depressed. … What’s more, he’s there with a challenge: Cure him of his malady — in one session, mind you — or he will annihilate humankind.

That’s the set-up for “Oh God,” a funny and poignant Israeli play that’s toured the world, receiving much praise. It will be presented through July 24 by the Chester Theatre Company in the Town Hall in Chester.

“ ‘Oh God’ is both a delight and a deeply thoughtful exploration of what it means to be human,” says CTC producing artistic director Daniel Elihu Kramer.
