The two major parties and the media are out of touch. They give us Trump (a loose cannon) and Hillary (a cannon). Neither could unite us.
Why was someone like Rhode Island Gov. Lincoln Chafee (who voted against the Iraq war and who has executive experience) rejected? What were the factors that contributed to this debacle?
In such cases, other parties become increasingly appealing.
