On June 26, Duane and Janice Cromack celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary at the Wesley United Methodist Church in Hadley.
They were married June 23, 1951, in the Douglas Chapel at F. E. Warren Air Force Base in Cheyenne, Wyoming, where Corporal Cromack was atttending school.
In 1995 Duane retired from the University of Massachusetts as the associate dean of the College of Engineering. Janice has long been involved in Christian ministry.
