SENIOR FOOT CARE – Sharon Beaulieu, RN, staffs the foot care clinic each Friday from 9:40 a.m. to 12:40 p.m. The fee for service is $28. For an appointment, call 259-3060. Foot care includes nail clipping, callous removal, therapeutic foot massage and hygienic foot bath.
JOY OF SONG— Sara Snyder May 9, from 1 to 2 p.m. An informal community singing hour. Join in on familiar old songs. Lyrics provided — all abilities welcome.
MUSICAL SHOWCASE – May 20, 2 p.m., Amherst pianist Stephen Page, an instructor at Amherst College, the Northampton Community Music Center and Greenfield Community College, will perform his uplifting, intricate renditions. His selections always get fingers snapping and toes tapping. Free admission and refreshments.
WHITE ELEPHANT SALE — The Friends of the Amherst Senior Center will hold a White Elephant Sale on the Amherst Town Common May 21 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Call 256-3517 to donate. Small household items in very good condition will be accepted. No clothing, jewelry or furniture.
BRIDGE — Noon to 4 p.m., Wednesdays
NAME THAT TUNE —Sing-along with Steve is held the first and third Mondays of the month from 11 to 11:45 a.m. in the large activity room. Monday’s theme is Americana Sing-Along, and May 16 will be jazz standards.
BLOOD PRESSURE CLINICS — Tuesdays, 9 to 10 a.m. in the Garrabrants room. Free. Appointments not needed.
