TINYTOUR
Rather than looking for a stage to perform on, choreographer and dancer Kelly Silliman supplies her own. Silliman, the director of the tinydance project, pulls her 4-foot-by-8-foot stage behind her bicycle to outdoor settings around the Valley. The troupe begins a one-week tour of local venues of its new piece, “still we climb,” Saturday. It’s low-tech (and free) and all about sustainability. ANOTHER GOOD BET
I watched a video of a rehearsal for Act Too Studio Opera Workshop’s opera “Il sogno d’Arianna” and was mighty impressed. (You can watch it, too, at vimeo.com/175955027.)
