AMHERST – A man has declined to pursue charges after being attacked by a large group of teenagers Sunday afternoon.
Police said four teenage girls approached the man at about 6:30 p.m. at the intersection of North Pleasant and Triangle streets and asked him to buy them alcohol.
The man did not know the girls, and when he refused, a group of 10 teenage boys – who were with the girls, and whom the man did not know – attacked him. He sustained minor injuries, according to police.
