It’s a family event, it’s multicultural and it’s free (OK, donations welcome). On Saturday at 11 a.m. Jose Gonzalez, founder of the Amherst-based musical ensemble Criollo Clasico, will be at North Hall in Huntington with his son, flutist Ahmed González, to perform a program of songs in Spanish and English from their album “Caribbean Fiesta for Kids.” Children will also have the opportunity to try out instruments.
Located at 40 Searle Road, off Route 66, in Huntington, North Hall is air-conditioned and wheelchair-accessible. 667-5543, northhallhuntington.org
