Stereo equipment was stolen out of a car on Center Street on Saturday at 2:24 p.m., police said.

An undetermined amount of prescription medication was stolen from a vehicle parked on Button Street, reported Friday at 8:23 p.m. According to police, the victim left his motor vehicle unlocked and the driverโ€™s side window completely open. Three bottles of the prescription medications Klonopin, Seroquel and Lamictal were stolen from the vehicle, as well as two cellphone chargers and a bottle of vape juice. There are no suspects at this time, and the incident remains under investigation, according to police.

Alan Scott Dick, 27, who lists his address as the streets of Holyoke, was arrested for leaving the scene of property damage, operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol and drugs, negligent operation of a motor vehicle and resisting arrest. Dick allegedly crashed a purple Honda into a parked car on Strong Avenue Saturday at 1:48 a.m. Dick ran from the scene, and after a brief foot pursuit an officer handcuffed him, police said. Total damage is estimated to be over $1,000. Dick suffered minor scrapes and cuts that were treated at the scene, police said. Dick is scheduled to be arraigned Monday morning in Northampton District Court.
