The UMass field hockey team fell in overtime, 2-1, to New Hampshire in the Wildcat Classic in Durham, New Hampshire, Friday.

Nicole Miller scored for the Minutewomen, while Emily Hazard made six saves in her first collegiate start.

Lindsey Nerbonne scored both goals for the Wildcats.

New Hampshire outshot UMass, 17-10, and held a 7-2 edge in corners.

The contest marked the first for UMass interim head coach Amy Robertson. She was a standout defender for the Minutewomen from 1984-87 and previously served as an assistant coach from 1992-96.

UMass plays Northwestern at 11 a.m. Sunday in Durham.
