The UMass field hockey team couldn’t keep up with No. 16 Northwestern on Sunday in New Hampshire.

Isabel Flens scored twice for the Wildcats, who scored three goals in the first half and two in the second.

Emily Hazard made six saves for UMass (0-2).

Melanie Kreusch led the Minutewomen with four shots and two on goal.

Women’s soccer

No. 23 South Florida 3, UMass 0 — The Bulls socred three goals in a seven-minute span during the second half to seal a victory Sunday.

Two of them came from the penalty spot.

Salma Anastasio took four shots for UMass (1-2), while Cassidy Babin made five saves.

Men’s soccer

Colgate 2, UMass 0 — Jorge Becerra made nine saves for the Minutemen on Sunday.

Both of Colgate’s goals came in an 82-second span in the second half.
