The minutes of the executive sessions of the Amherst-Pelham Regional School Committee that were obtained by the Gazette regarding discussion of the separation agreement with Superintendent Maria Geryk are missing the most important part: the demand letter which contains Geryk’s claims.

I do not see how that letter can possibly be exempted from Open Meeting Law.

Without that letter, the public has really no information on what the strength of the claim or claims were, and thus no context to understand the settlement that was reached.
