Charlotte and Kenneth Wood celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary July 10th at the Westhampton Congregational Church where they were married on July 23, 1966.
Some 100 family and friends attended from Connecticut, Vermont, Cape Cod and surrounding towns. The reception was beautifully planned by their three children: Correne Wood, Charlene (and Joe) Bordonaro) and Kevin (and Tracie) Wood. Their five grandchildren complete the family: Carter, Preston, Alyssa, Alexandra and Samantha (who was wearing the flower girl dress from 50 years ago).
Both are graduates of Northampton High School. Ken attended Springfield College and Charlotte (Payson) attended the University of Massachusetts. They are retired teachers from elementary schools in Northampton and Westhampton and live in the house they built in 1970 at 14 Perry Hill Road in Westhampton.
