I am writing to voice my concern regarding the lack of consideration some homeowners have in the use of water. Especially now since we have had so little rain in such a long time.
I think it is irresponsible to have automatic sprinklers watering your lawns just so they look “green.” Look around and see all the other lawns. They are as brown as the Sahara desert.
I think everyone should be conscientious about their use of water until we get real rain. We have a well and so do our neighbors. We are all drawing from the same underground source. I am concerned that our wells may go dry.
My neighbors don’t seem to have the same concern. I just want everyone to think of someone else instead of just themselves.
Hopefully this dry spell will be over soon and we can all enjoy watering our lawns again.
