For the past 50 years, the United Nations has affirmed the basic human right of all couples and individuals to decide freely and responsibly the number and spacing of their children, and to have the information and means to do so.
Anyone who advocates for forced sterilization, in my opinion, was not suited to represent our community as part of Northampton’s Human Rights Commission.
