HADLEY — Police are warning residents to remain vigilant after a man driving a van approached a girl and asked her to help him find his lost puppy.
The man approached an 11-year-old girl on Stockwell Road between 4 and 5 p.m. Sunday. The girl ran away and did not see him again, according to Sgt. Mitchell Kuc.
Kuc said he is described as Hispanic with thick, curly hair, and he was driving a gold van.
Kuc asked that anyone with information call the Hadley Police Department at 413-584-0883.
