HADLEY – The Massachusetts Department of Transportation announced a detour for Route 47 traffic in the area of Route 9 to allow for paving operations that will begin at 3 a.m., on Wednesday, Sept. 14.
During the paving operations, Route 47 will be detoured via East Street.
Starting at 3 a.m., on Wednesday, traffic on Route 47 near the intersection of Route 9 follows the detour around the intersection to allow crews to pave the roadway. The detour will end during the late afternoon.
The detour will repeat, starting at 3 a.m., until late afternoon, on Thursday and Friday.
During paving operations, traffic will flow one way in each direction on Route 9.
