Luna Reflection

I read in the Gazette with great interest — and sadness — about the woman who is raising silk moths and releasing the adults into the wild, hoping to make a dent in the devastation wrought by the fly species imported to battle gypsy moths. It made me realize that I was very blessed indeed to find three luna moths in my yard late last June.
As a result, I thought to share this photo of one of them. It makes me smile. If only replication were this easy!
I captured this beauty using a digital camera with a medium zoom lens.
