DEERFIELD – The town is seeking a new administrator, and the current interim administrator Douglass C. Finn is departing.
Select Board member Trevor McDaniel confirmed that Finn will leave the office for a job elsewhere. Finn could not be reached for comment about when he intends to leave.
According to a posting on the Deerfield website, the town is “seeking an experienced municipal administrator to be its town administrator.”
The position is advertised as offering a salary between about $60,000 and $75,000, and requests that candidates have at least a bachelor’s degree in public administration.
Applications for the position will start being reviewed Monday. The notice said that applications will continue to be reviewed until the position is filled, and asks that anyone interested in the job send an application to Patricia Kroll, administrative assistant, Town Offices, 8 Conway St., Deerfield, MA 01373, marked “TA Application.”
