GRANBY — Police are advising everyone to lock their vehicles after items were stolen from half a dozen cars over the weekend.
Granby Sgt. Kevin O’Grady told the Gazette Wednesday that the rash of break-ins extended into Belchertown, and all of the vehicles involved appear to have been unlocked.
“We’re asking that everyone lock their (vehicle) doors,” he said.
O’Grady said the department arrested Lawrence Wildman, 44, of 49 Lyman St., in connection with the breaks, but since the crimes persisted after his arrest police believe there may be another person who is involved.
“At this point everything is still under investigation,” O’Grady said.
