Bayla Metzger and Matt Grant, both of Brooklyn, New York were married Aug. 27 at The Graham and Co. Hotel, in Phoenicia, New York by Universal Life Church officiant Jeff Fallis.
Attendants were flower girls Zoe and Jaime Metzger, and Chuppah holders Michael Bland, Casey Johnston, Henry Metzger, and David Metzger.
A reception was held at The Phoenicia Diner in Phoenicia.
The couple honeymooned in Spain.
The bride, 34, is the daughter of Amy Metzger and Peter Hirschman of Florence and Murray Forman and Zamawa Arenas of Boston. She is the managing editor of Culture Co-op in Sausilito, California and Brooklyn, New York, and a freelance writer. She is a 1999 graduate of Northampton High School and 2005 graduate of Northeastern University in Boston.
The groom, 39, is the son of Rose and Robert Grant of Atlanta, Georgia. He is a logistician at Masterpiece International in New York City. He is a 1995 graduate of Henderson High School, in Atlanta, Georgia and 1999 graduate of the University of Georgia in Athens, Georgia.
