UMass 3, Hartford 2 (OT) — Ty Goncalves scored a penalty kick in the 97th minute to give the UMass men’s soccer team a road win Saturday.
UMass (3-4-1) also got goals from Konrad Gorich and Josh Jess. Alex DeSantis assisted on Jess’ goal, and Jorge Becerra made one save.
Amherst 4, Williams 2 — Jackson Lenhard scored unassisted in each half to keep the third-ranked defending champs unbeaten Saturday. Bijan Zojaji and Weller Hlinomaz also had goals for Amherst (5-0-1, 2-0-1 NESCAC).
Amerst 1, Williams 1 (2OT); Amherst 3, Farmingdale State 1 — Hanna Guzzi found the net 51 seconds into the match, and Amherst held on for a tie with the No.1 Ephs on Saturday.

Maggie Danners had 19 kills in a 25-15, 20-25, 25-18, 16-25, 16-14 victory over Babson. Marialexana Natsis tallied 15 kills in a 25-15, 25-27, 25-22, 12-25, 15-11 loss against Clark for Amherst (7-3).
Wheaton 3, Mount Holyoke 1 — Joy Maran tallied a double-double with 14 kills and 10 digs, while Cameron Graham had 18 digs in a 25-19, 14-25, 25-20, 28-26 loss for the Lyons (2-7, 0-3 NEWMAC).
MIT 3, Smith 0; Simmon 3, Smith 0 — Maca Rojas dished out 36 assists in two home losses Saturday.
Smith (2-10, 0-5 NEWMAC) lost 25-12, 25-18, 25-10 to MIT and 25-16, 25-18, 25-19 to Simmons.

Amherst shot a 625 as a team to take sixth at the Williams College Fall Invitational over the weekend at Taconic Golf Club. Jack Burlison tied for 20th with a 14-over 156.
Morgan Yurosek won the first event of her collegiate career, taking the Wellesley Invite individual title at 149, while Amherst won the team title scoring 616 over the weekend at Nehoiden Golf Course.
