Nicholas Suter, 25, of 37 Tamarack Drive, was arrested at 10:09 p.m. Tuesday on West Street on a charge of breaking and entering during the daytime to commit a felony after he allegedly broke into an Amherst home earlier in the day, police said.
Matthew James Moran, 33, of Chicopee, was arrested at 7:13 p.m. Tuesday on North Pleasant Street on charges of assault and battery and assault and battery by way of strangulation or suffocation after he allegedly fought with another man aboard a PVTA bus about 90 minutes earlier, police said.
A Black Lives Matter sign was reported stolen at 2:42 p.m. Tuesday from a North Prospect Street yard.
