DEERFIELD — A truck full of potatoes headed for the Utz potato chip factory in Pennsylvania split a seam on Lower Road, spilling some produce and causing traffic delays for several hours during the cleanup Wednesday evening.

According to Deerfield Police Officer Adam Sokoloski, a Bobcat loader had to be used to empty the trailer before it could be towed away by a Rose Ledge tow truck. Sokoloski said a side of the trailer fell off and the floor buckled.
