Florence’s Ian Ostberg threw for 315 yards and three touchdowns, but the Williston Northampton football team couldn’t best Avon Old Farms on Saturday in Easthampton.
The Wildcats lost for the second time in three games 28-19.
Ostberg also ran for 57 yards, while Austin Ryan caught nine passes for 131 yards and two touchdowns.
Whately’s Derek Zewinski made 11 tackles.

Williston 1, Berkshire 0 — Mary Kate O’Brien scored on a corner kick assist from Sophie Weed to seal a home win for the Wildcats (3-3-2).
Suffield Academy 14, Williston 9 — Noah DeVos made 21 saves and three steals in a road loss.
David Fitch scored four goals, and Mark Wei scored three times for the Wildcats (2-4).
Wei and Tom Lawry each had four steals.
Williston 23, Westminster 43; Williston 15, Kingswood Oxford 50 — Northampton’s Nick HIll became the third boy in Wildcats history to break 16 minutes, winning the race in 15 minutes, 54 seconds, the second-fastest time in school history.
Williston 20, Westminster 41; Williston 16, Kingswood Oxford 50 — Abigail Touhey finished second at 20:11, the fourth fastest time in Wildcats history.
