NORTHAMPTON — No injuries were reported about 12:40 p.m. Tuesday after an elderly man lost control of his Subaru Forester while driving on Damon Road and crashed near the Norwottuck Rail Trail upon veering into a boulder and street sign, police said.

The man, who has not been identified, was transported to an area hospital after he told police he was not feeling well. Northampton Police also said a passenger in the vehicle was not injured. 

Police said it was not immediately clear what caused the man to veer off Damon Road.
