Two men wearing dark clothing with panty hose concealing their faces while walking on Harkness Road about 9 p.m. Wednesday were not found by police.
Police are investigating a break-in to a residence at Townehouse Apartments, 50 Meadow St., reported at 8:52 p.m. Wednesday in which a man allegedly walked into the home, asked for a person who does not live there and stole a drone from the tenant.
Stuart A. Larose, 31, who lists his address as the streets of Northampton, was arrested about 12 p.m. Wednesday when an officer on patrol in the King Street area recognized Larose and knew he was wanted on a warrant. Larose was arrested on a warrant issued by Springfield District Court for municipal ordinance violations.
Cynthia M. Crosby, of Leeds, was arrested about 3:30 p.m. Wednesday on charges of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license and driving an unregistered motor vehicle. Crosby was stopped on Bridge Road. Crosby also was wanted on a warrant issued by Northampton District Court on a charge of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license.
Aljava Y. Johnson, 42, who lists his address as the streets of Northampton, was arrested about 4 p.m. Wednesday after police said he stole a bluetooth speaker from Wal-Mart, 180 N. King St. He faces a charge of shoplifting, police said.
