ANTIQUES APPRAISAL: The Amherst Historical Society will hold an antiques appraisal day that will help identity items and provide estimated values.
The event is from 4 to 8 p.m. Oct. 20 at the Simeon Strong House, 67 Amity St.
Douglas Kimball of Kimball’s Auction and Estate Services will appraise fine and decorative arts, prints, toys, furniture, Americana, books and folk art.
Participants may bring up to four items and each verbal appraisal will cost $15.
All proceeds will benefit the Amherst Historical Society.
