AMHERST — Paving and associated work will continue on several Amherst streets beginning Monday.
From 6:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. both Monday and Tuesday, resurfacing of sidewalks and driveway entrances will take place on both Amity Street and Teaberry Lane.
On Wednesday, the sidewalk and driveway work resumes on Amity Street, and sidewalk and drainage work will take place in the Amherst Woods neighborhood of Authority Way.
On Thursday and Oct. 21, sidewalks and driveways will be finished on Amity Street, with the loaming and seeding of grass belts. And there will be preparation for final pavement on Authority Way with sewer, water and drainage structure adjustments.
All roads will remain open to through traffic but motorists are advised to expect minor delays, and no on-street parking will be allowed.
